Life is full of opportunities and those opportunities that one takes advantage of will make them into the person they desire to be. When I pass away I want to leave a positive legacy for my children and grandchildren to follow. One of my smallest goals in life is to make at least one person smile everyday and help them see the brighter side to their troubling situation. My largest goal over my lifetime is to make an impact on third world countries and help those who are less fortunate and unable to escape their problematic life.
To accomplish all my goals in life I will need an education, enabling me to understand others situations and how to solve their problems. While attending school I want to join at least two clubs that support my lifetime goals. Also while at Iowa State I want to build my networking skills so some day I will have many options for career opportunities and internships.
Being involved with the opportunities that ISU offers will shape me into the person I want to be so I will be able to complete my future goals and dreams.
I think it's awesome that you're so set on helping out people in need. You have obviously thought about what you want to do and now you are here to learn how to do it, and I hope all goes well! I also really liked your goal of getting somebody to smile each day, because little goals like this really go a long way in boosting our own confidence and just making us feel better about ourselves.
ReplyDeleteI think helping third world countries and fight hunger is such a noble goal to have. It is going to be a lot of work but I know you will be able to make an impact in this world.
